What's the difference between the BLADE and GEMINI?
The BLADE is our handheld device — a portable, self-contained retro gaming system with a 5-inch widescreen display, built-in controls, and up to 20,000 pre-loaded games across 40+ systems. It runs on a RockChip RK3326 chipset and is designed for gaming on the go.
The GEMINI is our desktop console — a Raspberry Pi 4–based system that connects to your TV via HDMI. It supports 80+ systems and comes with over 32,000 pre-loaded games on an internal 2TB hard drive. The Gemini is best for couch gaming with a controller.

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, NostGaming ships within the United States only. Our products are assembled and shipped from within the US, and our support team operates in native English.
We are evaluating international shipping options for the future. If you’re outside the US and interested in our products, please contact our support team — we’d love to hear from you.
What is the warranty on NostGaming products?
NostGaming products come with a long service warranty backed by our US-based support team. We stand behind our hardware and software quality.

How do software updates work?
NostGaming systems are not a walled garden — they are fully upgradeable and linked with the official OS repository on GitHub.
Updates are delivered multiple times per year via the built-in update tool accessible from the main menu. For WiFi-enabled devices, updates can be downloaded directly on the device. For non-WiFi devices, updates can be applied via a microSD card.
Our systems run the latest builds of EmulationStation and RetroArch, ensuring you get the best compatibility and features as they’re released by the open-source community.
Can I add my own games?
Yes! NostGaming devices support adding your own game ROMs to the existing library.
For the BLADE: Connect the MicroSD card to a computer (using a card reader) and place ROM files in the appropriate system folder. The device auto-detects new games on the next boot.
For the GEMINI: Connect via USB or network share to add games to the internal HDD.
Both devices include integration with ScreenScraper (free account required), which automatically generates high-quality box art, screenshots, and game metadata for any titles you add.
Note: We only support adding games you legally own. Please be mindful of copyright laws in your jurisdiction.
What controllers are supported?
BLADE Handheld: Controls are fully built-in. The BLADE features all standard buttons, shoulder L/R and LT/RT buttons, a d-pad, dual analog sticks, and a safe shutdown power button. External controllers can be connected via the USB-A port.
GEMINI Console: A controller is not included by default as controller preference is personal. The following are tested and recommended:

Most USB and Bluetooth controllers will work out of the box with the GEMINI.
Is WiFi included?
BLADE Handheld: WiFi is not included by default but is available as an optional add-on (the WiFi Module). WiFi enables online features including RetroAchievements, Netplay, ScreenScraper data scraping, and over-the-air software updates.
GEMINI Console: WiFi is built-in (2.4/5.0 GHz 802.11ac) along with Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and Gigabit Ethernet — no add-on required.
If you want online features on the BLADE, you can add the WiFi Module at checkout or purchase it separately from our store.
What is the return policy?
